Georgia 58, Gardner-Webb 49: Juwan Parker recorded 12 points, nine rebounds and three steals as the Bulldogs held off the visiting Runnin' Bulldogs for their fourth consecutive victory.Marcus Thornton collected 11 points, seven rebounds and four blocks for Georgia (5-4), which had a 46-27 edge in rebounding. Georgia's leading scorer Charles Mann, who missed the last game due to a sore knee, returned in a reserve role to tally eight points.Naji Hibbert led the way with 14 points for Gardner-Webb (6-7), which was held to 31.5 percent shooting from the field. Tyler Strange added 10 points and five assists as the Runnin' Bulldogs dropped their second straight after winning four of the previous five.The Bulldogs scored the final seven points of a cold-shooting first half - five by Nemanja Djurisic - to take a 21-12 lead at intermission. Georgia made 9-of-25 from the field in the opening 20 minutes while holding Gardner-Webb to 6-of-22, including 0-of-6 from 3-point range.Gardner-Webb ran off 10 of the first 13 points in the second half to pull within 24-22 before Thornton's six points helped Georgia quickly rebuild the lead to 10.
