Lake Orian, Mich. -

Bernhard Langer takes a solid four-shot lead into Sunday's final round of the U.S. Senior Open at Indianwood Golf and Country Club in Lake Orian, Michigan.

The German pro shot a 6 under par 64 on Saturday to give himself a comfortable lead over a field that includes Tom Pernice Jr., Corey Pavin, Roger Chapman, tour money leader Tom Lehman, John Huston, Fred Couples, Fred Funk, Jay Haas and Dick Mast in the top 10.

The US Senior Open is one of the five major senior tournaments each year, along with the Senior PGA Championship, the Regions Tradition, the Constellation Senior Players Championship and the Senior Open Championship in the UK.

Most senior PGA events consist of three rounds but the majors have four.
