A missing cat was found among the ruins six days after a deadly home explosion in Indianapolis.

The black cat named Gidget had been missing since the Nov. 10 blast that killed two people and destroyed five homes, Indianapolis TV station WRTV reported.

A federal investigator found Gidget behind a couch in the home of her owners, Glenn and Gloria Olvey.

She was scared but otherwise OK, according to The Associated Press.

The Olveys had already recovered their other three pets from the wreckage.

They lived next door to the home that is believed to be the origin of the blast, the AP reported.
