NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) -

A man was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with aggravated burglary for allegedly breaking into a home and stealing beer.

Metro police said Justin Fuller kicked down the door of his ex-girlfriend's home on Clifton Avenue during the early hours of Christmas Eve.

According to police, his ex-girlfriend had been sleeping but awoke when she heard someone trying to get into her home.

She told police she watched as Harris kicked down the front door, walked straight to the kitchen and took a 12-pack of Bud Light from the refrigerator.

She said Fuller then left the home.

According to police, Fuller had not stayed in the home in several months.

There was visible damage to the door. A muddy shoe print was visible when police arrived.
