EL PASO, Texas -

Sandbags for people in El Paso City Limits:

The Stormwater Operations Center at 4801 Fred Wilson will distribute sandbags until 10:00 p.m. Due to the high demand for sandbags, EPWU is encouraging customers to visit the Fred Wilson facility which will be restocked with sandbags through the evening. The supply at the other facilities has been depleting quickly.

El Paso Water Utilities does not charge for sandbags, but the quantity is limited to 15 bags per visit.

People who cannot lift heavy items are encouraged to come with someone who can assist with loading and unloading the bags. Must be an EPWU customer to get sandbags.

Customers are urged to be proactive. If you know your home or property floods, get sandbags ahead of time instead of waiting until the rain hits.
