Triple-A baseball coming to El Paso

EL PASO, Texas -

MountainStar Sports Group is looking for suggestions for the name of the El Paso Triple-A baseball team.

Just submit your team name suggestion, and you could be the winning fan with the winning name. The Contest begins on May 2, 2013 at 12:00 a.m. Mountain Time  and ends on May 24, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time.

Here's How It Works
If a single fan's suggested name is selected, that person will be declared the Grand Prize Winner.
If multiple fans submit the name selected, then each of those fans will be entered into a random drawing for the Grand Prize.
If no fan submissions are selected, then all entries will be entered into a random drawing for the Grand Prize.

The Grand Prize Winner will receive the following:
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch on Opening Day in the new El Paso Ballpark
Two field-level season tickets for the 2014 season
A personalized, "Team Name Winner" team jersey.
Fans' suggestions and votes are a big and important part in the new team's name selection process.

Many factors will be considered in the process of selecting the team name. Most important will be the overall popularity of the suggested name; creativity in relation to how the name can be adapted to a mascot and other elements; and how representative the name is of the El Paso region. After a team name is selected, Minor League Baseball must give it final approval.
