Hill’s father, Richard Feldstein, was a tour accountant for Guns ‘N Roses. His brother, Jordan Feldstein, manages Maroon 5.
Hill studied acting at The New School in New York.
Two of Hill’s closest friends are the children of Dustin Hoffman. His connection to the actor led to Hill getting an audition for – and eventually a part in – “I Heart Huckabees.”
Hill’s first starring role was in 2007’s “Superbad.”
Hill slimmed down in 2011, dropping about 40 pounds. The actor said he lost the weight by changing up his diet and working with a trainer.
Hill has been nominated for two Oscars. In 2014 he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “The Wolf of Wall Street.” In 2012 he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for “Moneyball.”
Hill didn’t just act in “21 Jump Street,” he also co-wrote and produced the film.
Hill said he was paid $60,000 for his role in “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
