EL PASO, Texas -

ABC-7 meteorologists have issued a First Alert for early-evening Sunday through Monday morning due to weather conditions impacting borderland residents.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for El Paso, parts of Otero, and Dona Ana counties until 11 AM Monday. There is also a Winter Storm Warning in effect for parts of Otero County until 11 AM along with Hudspeth and Culberson until 2 P.M. Monday.

It appears that most of the El Paso metro area will just receive rain with no snow. The rain should taper off my noon. After that, the skies will clear up, making for a cold night with lows in the 20s.
